YEM CHIO CO., LTD was founded in 1977 by Chih Hsien Lee, who holds the concurrent post of President and CEO now. Our business was started with very low capital and rough equipment at beginning stage, and now we have extended our scale to a company with dense distribution warehouse all around the island and our own adhesive tape and film factories in Taiwan, China and Vietnam. Currently, YEM CHIO is running the business with capital increased up to two hundred and five billion in the plastic material industry. ~ MANAGEMENT ADVANTAGE ~ We treat every employee as the most valuable resource for the company. We're implemented a welfare program named "Start Your Own Business in Our Company"since 1984. Also, we adopt the management of humanity and operation system of profit center. In the following phase, we set up the distribution warehouse and the systems of individually responsibility for every sales representative. Except the self-management, we have regular training plans that enable to reinforce the professional knowledge and marketing skill of every employee and enhance their ability to deal with the rapid changes in the industry. Also, the Video Supervision System and Video Net Meeting System was completed in 2001, which have eliminated the limit of distance among Headquarter in Taiwan, Factory in Ningbo, China, Factory in HCMC, Vietnam and Factory in Changhua, Taiwan. Currently, we're able to obtain the instant video image and information via this system to enhance our operation efficiency. ~ QUALITY ADVANTAGE ~ We're launched in production of packing material since 1987. Fan Yuan Factory was build to produce self-adhesive tape of multi-function usage. Due to the huge market demand and fast growth of turnover, we set up our Changbing Factory in 1988, Ningbo China plant in 2002, and HCMC Vietnam plant in 2003. By all our domestic and overseas factories, fourteen coating lines,two BOPP productions and one BOPA production line to supply the market demand. For the environment protection concern, we're developed successfully the Water Emulsion Adhesive Tape in 1984, which take the place of the Acrylic Solvent Adhesive Tape and become the market trends in the industry. As the quality is our priority concern, we're certified in series of international qualification, which include ISO 9002, in 1988, ISO 9000/2000 in 2001 and UL in 2001. ~ PRODCUT AND DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL ADVANTAGE ~ Currently, most of packing material suppliers are running business with traditional sales agent as their distribution channel. However, YEM CHIO is regarded as the pioneer of "Direct Distribution Channel¡¨ in this industry, which eliminate the role of sales agent and directly communicate with customers by the most experienced sales teams. Trough the YEM CHIO group, we provided the possibility of production & shipment from Taiwan, China and Vietnam, providing various of advantages such as for competitive prices and "Favorable Import Tax", yet offering wide variety of options according to each customer's unique market situation. Also, the achievement of 5 manufacturing plants in different region have greatly increased our annul production which enable YEM CHIO to provide quality products to over 80 countries in the world. Moreover, the successful investment in the China plant furnished "Vertical Integration¡¨ from the production of Film to the finished products of OPP tapes, which performed by the most advanced Technology & most experienced Technicians from Taiwan and keeping most strict Quality Control from the each process of Film to Tapes. The achievement of project in this Vertical Integration in China has provided YEM CHIO the unique advantages of providing the best quality and the most competitive prices among all the other competitors in China. Taking the advantage of distribution channel and addition value of product, we're launched our products in the global market successfully. With a wide range of products and instant service, YEM CHIO is expected to be a "Packing Material Department Store¡¨. Also, we're confident to generate dramatic profit under the advantage of distribution, quality and wide products range. ~ COMPANY PROSPECT ~ The Headquarter of YEM CHIO was completed in 1999, which located in Taisan, Taipei. Our stocks have been published in 2nd category of OTC market in 2000, which were upgraded to 1st category later in 2001. Currently, we're developing the high added value products and working with extreme effort to reach the company's goal. ~ COMPANY TARGET~ By the year of 2004, the 16 production lines in our factories of this group will cooperatively provide the annual production capacity of 90 million square meters for Adhesive tape, 70,000 tons for resin, 65,000 tons for BOPP Film, and 48,000 tons of BOPA Film by increasing 3rd production line in the film factories. The production enlargement and development of new product will be continued in the future. The annual income of the group shall reach USD 137 million by the year of 2004. ~MANUFACTURING FACILITY ~ 1ST PLANT- FANG YUANG, TAIWAN- 3 Coating Machines in production of PVC tape, Double Sided Tissue Tape / OPP / PET / Foam tape and Kraft tape. 3 Rewinders, 4 Cutting Machines, and 5 Packaging Machines. 2nd PLANT- CHUNG BIN, TAIWAN- 5 Glue Reacting Tank, and 6 (1.6 Meter) and 1 (1.3 Meter) Coating Machines in production of OPP tapes. 2 Fully Automatic Slitters, 5 Semi Automatic Slitters, and 7 Shrinkage Packaging Machines. - Glue Reacting Tank 1-5: For reacting Acrylic Water Based Glue for tapes. 3rd PLANT- CHUNG BIN, TAIWAN- 1 BOPA production Line for BOPA film. - BOPA Film Production Line 1 : For manufacturing BOPA film. Machine: Bruckner ¡V Germany Production width max.: 4.2 M NINGBO ASIA PLASTIC-NINGBO, CHINA 2 BOPP Film Production Lines in length of 8.2 M, 4 Glue Reacting Tanks, 3 Coating Machines and 8 Slitters in production of OPP tapes.
